Food Vision 2030 is a bold, 10-year plan and movement to cultivate a healthier, more sustainable, and more just food system throughout our region.

What food issues are important to San Diegans?

This summer, over 2,200 San Diegans expressed needs and aspirations related to food in their communities. We're excited to share what we learned from residents and food system workers across San Diego County.

Building a Plan & Movement

Food Vision 2030 builds on more than a year of research, hundreds of hours of interviews, and a sweeping community engagement process. It will culminate in a dynamic report and interactive website to be launched in January 2021.

Why Food? Why Now?

The San Diego Food System Alliance launched Food Vision 2030 with the understanding that the time to reimagine and reconfigure our food system is now. How we grow, move, and share food has a powerful ripple effect across all aspects of society.
